Hi, I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Engineering Mechanics program in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics at Virginia Tech. I work in the Dynamics and Vibrations laboratory with Prof. Robert G. Parker. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Jodhpur in India.
My research interests include computational mechanics, finite element methods, dynamics and vibrations of rotating systems. Currently, I am developing a computational model to study high-speed, rotating, coupled, compliant gears.

My other interests include canvas painting, hiking, traveling, and reading books. I am a friendly person who prefers to listen more than talk. I have informal experience in counseling and I am fond of helping people. Due to this keen interest, I have been in Counselling service at IIT Jodhpur and have volunteered for VTEEM Peer mentoring, STEP program and tutoring with Blacksburg Refugee Partnership.
